Preparing for “Bath” and the final leg of shooting.

I’m trying hard to get all my errands and stuff completed before we head off to Columbia for our short film shoot. I still need a haircut, but I REALLY don’t want to get one. Them’s the breaks I guess. I guess there’s plenty of time after for my hair to grow…at least I hope so!

I’m still a little uneasy about the explosions tomorrow, but everyone assures me I am safe. My main gripe is that this guy is accustomed to actually blowing stuff up! Not just making an explosion read well for film. But, the Lord says “fear not.”  So that means I’ve got to let it go!

The heat is going to be insane tomorrow. Just the five minutes I spent in fitting for wardrobe found me drenched in sweat. If I’m not mistaken, I was also in the shade!   I have a very real newfound respect for our wonderful troops who have to wear all this crap EVERY SINGLE DAY!  I don’t know how they do it.  So, yes, this is going to be intense and physically demanding work. But, I love the whole process of making a film, even if I’m in front of the camera (as is the case with this project).

I think that’s really all from me today. I’m off now to find a quick and cheap haircut…hoping it doesn’t get botched. After that, Kali is off to the puppysitter’s and I’m off to Columbia to meet up with the rest of the cast and crew.

Let’s go make a movie!

That sounds like so much fun!

I bet you wouldn’t guess that I had the acting bug for awhile. I tried to audition for films but it turns out I’m much too shy…

    How are things?
