Look at all these Tweets from 2007-12-18

  • Great night at group. Chilling at the crib, doing my best to prolong the time between now and work tomorrow! #
  • Why does cold weather make otherwise unnoticed parts of my anatomy itch? Like my ankles. #
  • Considering dropping web hosting, and forwarding my URL to a free WordPress blog. Hmmmm #

Styling and…well…styling

So I’m trying out a new theme.

I’m testing the basic K2, not the double expresso Redoable that I was running.

Thus far, it’s not speeding up the performance of the site, but I’m liking the basic style.

I was able to cut the cost of my hosting in half with my current host – but I’m still not satisfied.  The hunt and decision making is still in the works.

So, to further lengthen this already too long post about nothing, the site looks different and will likely be tweaked here and there for the next couple of days.

Thanks!

Decisions, decisions, decisions…

So, here’s a current thought cloud floating in my head.

I may ditch my paid hosting and just use this free WordPress blog.

I’ll keep my current URL (thadeeDOTcom) and have it forward, so that’s not an issue.  The issue at hand is a matter of value.  Am I getting my money’s worth from paid hosting?  I cannot honestly answer that with a yes.  I pay close to $100 a year for a blog.  I can almost get all the same functionality (that I am utilizing) for free.

And, if I so desire, I can pay $35 a year and ensure the same functionality – custom CSS and more storage.

I’ve imported all my blogs, categories and comments to this WordPress blog already.  I’ve been playing around and testing it out.  One thing is certain, this blog is MUCH FASTER!  I’m extremely disappointed at the performance of my paid hosting site.

It’s just a thought, but it’s likely that I’ll move to this blog full time.

Here’s my FreeBlog.  Test it out and tell me what you think.
