Mind you, this comes from the guy who told his congregation, from the pulpit, that he’s gonna “piss standing up” wherever he goes.
I’m amazed that people will preach second hand stories as truth from the pulpit. Amazed. And saddened.
These people want to lead people to Jesus – yet they mock their own brethren. Who would follow a condescending and judgmental group of people like that?
And NEWS FLASH – The King James isn’t even the first, nor is it the authoritative, English translation of the Bible. In fact, dare I say, if you can’t read Hebrew or Greek, you shouldn’t hold ANY translation of the Bible above another.
Amazing the rules and addendums people add to the teachings of Jesus. Amazing…and sad.
It’d be great if 98% of the Christians spouting about from the pulpit about love would actually start practicing it. Hell, I think we could change the world if a mere 10% would shut up about what others should be doing and just start doing.
Remember that Jesus will say, “Well done…” and not “Well said…”
